Hello!

The latest portrait commission is complete.  This is a companion piece to the finished one last fall- The Tree and the Boy.

The piece is on oil paint on board and the size is 18×24″.  I am particularly satisfied with the colour on this piece, it achieved richness that seems to take on a voice of its own that enhanced the portrait. There is also a sweetness to the the boys facial expression that was captivating to paint.  Here’s a detail…
